Remote working or service has become a new trend against the backdrop of the epidemic. Under the Anti-Epidemic Fund, the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) launched the Distance Business (D-Biz) Programme to support enterprises to continue their business and services through the adoption of IT solutions. The Hong Kong Productivity Council was appointed as the Secretariat.

The D-Biz Programme provided 100% funding support to qualified enterprises, subject to a cap of HK$100,000 per IT solution and HK$300,000 per enterprise, with related training expenses capped within the programme rules.
The programme covered categories of IT solutions intended to support distance business and digital operations.
The programme was introduced as part of Hong Kong’s anti-epidemic support measures to help businesses adopt technology for remote operations.
It was intended to support the purchase, adoption and setup of software and related training that enabled remote business operations.
